Epoxy FAS 100 All Surface Primer 10kg

Epoxy FAS 100 is a very high quality, high strength epoxy primer, designed for use as an epoxy primer for application onto nearly all surfaces. Epoxy FAS 100 can be applied  to concrete where there is a degree of moisture or oil contamination and over old bitumen coated floors. Epoxy FAS 100 can also be used on ceramic, glazed and terrazzo tiles. The product is so strong it will even stick under water.

Epoxy FAS 100 should be used on surfaces which are damp or have slight oil contamination before further coatings are applied. The second coat application should be within 24 - 48 hours of laying the first coat to create a chemical bond between coats.

Epoxy FAS 100 makes a perfect primer before the application of various epoxy floor coatings, for example our Liquid Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane or Epoxy Floor Coatings. When used in conjunction with Liquid Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane it acts as one of the coats required. Eg; if you require 2 coats of Liquid Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane then you could apply 1 coat of FAS 100 and 1 coat of Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane. This will create your new DPM over a contaminated floor. 

Epoxy FAS 100 can be blinded with quartz aggregate to create a key for self leveling compounds, screeds, tiles and other products that require a high quality key.

Two coats of Epoxy FAS will provide a genuine damp proof membrane on the substrate (see specification).
