Basement Sump Chamber

The Sump chamber is formed from HPDE with a locking access cover (pedestrian duty). The sump is supplied with all of the internal pipe work pre-assembled for connection from the pump to the outlet. The pre-drilled 50mm outlet has adaptors included so either 50mm high pressure waste pipe or 32mm standard high pressure waste pipe can be used to carry waste water away.

The sump chamber has no pre cut inlets allowing the installer to locate inward pipe work where required for ease of installation.

Basement Submersible Pump

The SV-150 Pump has been developed using the latest technologies and using the most advanced electrical/ motor parts. The pump is designed to pump waste water from a cavity drained waterproofing system, or as a means of removing surface water from light wells etc.

Basement High Level Alarm

The Perma-Seal High Level Alarm has been designed to detect high water levels within the sump chamber. The High Level Alarm acts as a warning system to alert the end user if the water rises above the normal operating level within the tank.

The alarm is designed to activate via a separate float switch inside the tank that is set to activate higher than the activation point of the pump.

The alarm is powered by a 9V battery. It can be programmed to automatic reset or manual reset after an alarm occurrence. A mute button to the front face silences the alarm once the alarm condition is discovered. The red flashing light gives indication of an alarm condition and this light will continue to show even when the alarm is muted.

Dual Pump System

The Perma-Seal Basement Sump and Pump System is available as a single pump unit or dual pump unit. The dual pump systems use matched pairs of pumps.

In the main, the reason for the secondary pump is to provide continued pumping in the event of a failure of the first pump. It makes sense therefore that the pump taking over the work-load has the same duty as the pump it is taken over from.

The dual system is supplied with the same system components as the single system with the addition of a secondary pump and adapted pipe work to run two pumps.

Maintenance

The system requires minimal maintenance; however it is strongly recommended that the unit is serviced quarterly during the first year. It is essential that the unit is serviced at least annually thereafter.

Health & Safety

As with all site work, the danger of working with water and electricity can pose a severe threat to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken.

System Optional Extras

Perma-Seal Battery Back Up System

To complement the Perma-Seal Basement Sump and Pump System the Perma-Seal Battery Backup System can be added. In the event of a power failure such as a power cut the Battery Backup System supplies power to the pump/ pumps ensuring they are able to operate for a period of time allowing peace of mind against the risks of flooding, especially when power failure is more common in times of heavy storm weather.
