Epoxy Flooring - Clear

Epoxy Resin Floor Coating is a tough epoxy coating for walls and floors. It is designed for use in warehouses, garages, cooling facilities and for use in the food & pharmaceutical industries. It is suitable for substrates such as concrete, cement screed and cement render. Do not apply to wood.

When dry, this clear epoxy flooring product produces a tough, hard-wearing dust-free finish. It is also suitable for use as an adhesive primer on old epoxy resin coatings before applying new coatings.

How to apply the epoxy coating

1. Clean the floor by removing dust, oil and grease as these will reduce the bond. It is essential to remove any laitance by mechanical means (common on new concrete floors/screeds). Please speak with one of our expert technical adviser if unsure.
2. Open the base and hardener components.
3. Thoroughly mix the two together and then add clean water in a few stages, until you reach the underside of the ridge at the top of the tin, then carry on mixing for two minutes.
4. Apply by short pile roller to the floor.
5. Clean tools with water.

Normally two coats are advised for the best results. Allow at least 12 hours to dry between coats, but no more than 48 hours.

Note: This product is NOT suitable for use over coin floors or wooden floors. It should only be applied at the application rate of 5kg per 25m2. Do not over apply or apply in single thick coats. DO NOT MIX WITH PIGMENTS OR ANY OTHER ADDITIVES. All epoxy floor coatings can yellow in areas of high UV exposure. This product is not suitable for external application.
