Basement Floor Drainage Channel

The Waterguard Floor Drain Channel is designed for use within cavity drain membrane systems to control water ingress in below-ground waterproofing applications. Unlike perimeter drainage channels, this flangeless floor drain can be installed across the centre of the basement floor to direct water towards a sump chamber or drainage outlet.

This two-metre PVC drainage channel includes pre-drilled holes that allow water collected beneath cavity drain membranes to enter the system and be safely removed. The flangeless design makes it particularly useful where stepped foundation footings prevent the installation of standard perimeter drainage channels at the wall-to-floor junction.

When incorporated into a complete cavity drain membrane system, the Waterguard Floor Drain Channel helps manage groundwater and relieve hydrostatic pressure in basements and other below-ground structures. Used alongside drainage channels, sump chambers and pumps, it forms part of a maintainable Type C waterproofing solution in accordance with BS 8102.
