Epoxy Resin Floor Coating HB Grey Non-Slip

PermaCOAT PRO High Build Epoxy Floor Coating Non-Slip is a two-pack, solvent-free, high build epoxy resin coating with a fine non-slip aggregate. It is designed as a heavy-duty coating at a thickness of 200 to 500 microns. The high gloss finish is extremely hard-wearing and offers excellent general chemical resistance.

Our high build epoxy resin coating has a low odour during application and provides a sealed, continuous and hygienic floor surface when cured. It is easy to apply and delivers a tough, resilient, corrosion- and abrasion-resistant finish.

It has a higher solids content than our standard Epoxy Resin Floor Coating. When applied, this provides a dry film thickness of nearly four times that of the standard product. This non-slip version includes a small tub of fine aggregate, which is mixed into the epoxy resin to provide a fine (light-duty) non-slip finish.

Installing Epoxy Resin Floor Coating HB Grey Non-Slip

Correct preparation is essential to the success of this high build epoxy coating. Do not apply to surfaces contaminated with oils, greases or other chemical contaminants. If contamination is present, use PermaCOAT Epoxy Primer or contact our technical team for advice.

1. Pre-mix the base component to a uniform consistency.
2. Add the entire contents of the hardener bottle to the base bucket, along with the full contents of the aggregate pot. Mix thoroughly for a further two minutes.
3. Ensure the mixture is of uniform consistency with no streaks.
4. The aggregate may not be immediately visible until the coating has dried.

As with all coloured epoxy floor coatings, two coats are recommended for optimum coverage and colour consistency. Always use the correct primer where required. Allow a minimum of 12 hours between coats and no more than 48 hours.

It is essential to remove any laitance by mechanical means (common on new concrete floors and screeds). Please speak to a member of our technical team if you are unsure. This product is not suitable for external use and is not UV stable; prolonged or intense exposure to sunlight may cause yellowing.
