PermaSEAL Fleece Overstrip is a grey geo textile backed one-sided tape. It is designed for connecting and sealing all PermaSEAL mesh membranes together where they join or overlap. It is available in 10 metre and 20 metre lengths, with a standard 100mm width and 1mm thickness.
Uses of Fleece Membrane Tape
Our Fleece Tape can be used in the following ways:
sealing butt joints in mesh membranes when used above ground in a damp proofing situation
sealing abutting joints
carrying out membrane repairs
sealing mesh membranes that have been cut to enable them to overlap e.g. at corners, reveals, wall/floor joints, or around any protrusions through the membrane
PermaSEAL Fleece Strip is an equivalent product to PermaSEAL Corner Strip but has the added advantage that you can render directly over it due to its geo textile texture.

Can Fleece Overstrip Membrane Tape be used above ground for damp proofing?
Yes - PermaSEAL Fleece Overstrip Membrane Tape can be used above ground when butt jointing PermaSEAL 3 mesh membranes together, waterproofing protrusions through the membrane or sealing any damage to the membrane.
Can PermaSEAL Fleece Overstrip be used below ground in a basement?
Yes - Our Fleece Overstrip can be used when basement waterproofing, however mesh cavity drain membranes are joined with an overlap joint therefore the fleece tape is used as a secondary overlap jointing strip.
Can Fleece Overstrip tape only be used on mesh membranes?
No - PermaSEAL Fleece Overstrip can be used on both meshed and non-meshed membranes. However, its unique fleece backing allows render to adhere to it which would not be used in conjunction with non-meshed membranes.
