How Does Damp Course Injection Work

Once rising damp has been professionally diagnosed, you simply need to inject a new damp proof course (DPC) into the mortar joint. The specially formulated damp proof cream penetrates the building substrate, allowing the active ingredients to line the capillaries. When cured you have a water-repellent horizontal barrier - a new chemical DPC that effectively controls rising damp. This method is sometimes referred to as a chemical damp proof course.

The cost of damp course injection is very affordable, especially when compared to more obtrusive methods.

Damp proofing cream can be used in all types of masonry, utilising low-pressure injection methods. This makes it easier and cleaner to install with less room for installer error whilst remaining highly effective at treating rising damp.

The injection cream has a special consistency that allows the active ingredients to optimally penetrate the wall.
