PermaPROTECT Mould Resistant Paint protects internal walls and ceilings against mould and mildew.

Our mould resistant interior paint is easy to apply and offers long-lasting protection from mould even in high humidity areas. It contains a powerful surface biocide that prevents mould growth. It’s effective on walls and ceiling, including in bathrooms and kitchens where condensation can be consistently high.

The paint prevents mould growth for up to five years, protecting your interior surfaces from deterioration as well as the health of you and your loved ones.

Mould Resistant Paint Colours

Our paint is supplied in brilliant white and magnolia, and dries to a premium matt finish. If you require a coloured finish we also supply an anti mould paint additive. The additive can be added to coloured emulsions to achieve your desired colour and finish.

PermaPROTECT Mould Resistant Paint contains a biocide that is proven to increase mould resistance and protect against mildew and mould growth. The paint itself is designed to provide an attractive brilliant white or magnolia durable finish, without cracking or deteriorating for five years.

Important note: PermaSEAL Mould Resistant paint isn’t suitable for use on wood, metal or plastic or external surfaces. Please also note that this paint may not be suitable for older or listed buildings where lime plasters and breathability are key.

Bathroom mould resistant paint

As a Mould Resistant Bathroom Paint, it is highly effective at preventing mould growth even in humid conditions like bathrooms. The powerful biocides are proven to resist mould growth on bathroom walls and ceilings.

How much paint do I need?

A litre of PermaSEAL Mould Resistant Paint has a coverage of 8 - 10 m² on smooth surfaces. If your surface is rough or porous, make an extra allowance.

How to apply Mould Resistant Paint

Our high quality mould resistant emulsion is easy to apply with roller or brush after preparing the problem surface.

Preparation

Start by removing any loose materials and make good any defects. Once you’ve achieved a smooth and clean finish surface, you should use a diluted mould wash concentrate. This will kill the spores in the surface.

Note: in cases of extreme mould staining, you may need to use a primer.

When the surface is fully dry, you can start to prepare and apply the mould resistant paint.

Mixing

When the bucket has been opened, stir it well by hand to ensure the coating is fully mixed.

Application

Apply Mould Resistant Paint to your wall or ceiling with a standard paintbrush or roller. Two coats are necessary and we recommend waiting for 2 to 4 hours between coats.
